New to Pole

Many people trying pole for the first time feel nervous, that's completely normal! Our beginner classes are designed for all fitness levels, and no prior dance or athletic experience is required.

Common Questions

Do I need to be strong or flexible?
No. Strength and flexibility develop over time through training. Everyone starts somewhere, and our instructors will guide you through each step at your own pace.

What if I’ve never danced before?
That's perfectly okay. Many of our students have no dance background at all. Pole fitness is a skill that anyone can learn with practice and patience.

Will everyone be watching me?
Not at all! Everyone in class is focused on learning their own movements. Our studio environment is supportive, welcoming, and judgment-free.

What class should I start with?
If you are brand new to pole, we recommend starting with Level 0: Intro to Pole, which is designed specifically for beginners.

Beginner Classes

Level 0 — Intro to Pole

This introductory class is designed for absolute beginners with no experience. Students will learn basic pole grips, walking around the pole, beginner spins, and simple transitions. Level 0 helps you become comfortable with the pole while building coordination and confidence.

(Level 0 only needs to be taken once before moving into Level 1.)

Level 1 — Pole Foundations

Level 1 builds on the basics introduced in Level 0 and focuses on developing strength, technique, and body awareness. Students will learn beginner spins, pole sits, transitions, and foundational movement combinations.

Students must complete at least 10 Level 1 classes to build the strength and consistency needed before progressing to Level 1.5.
