Welcome to Doll House Pole Fitness! We’re excited to have you join us. If this is your first pole class, don’t worry, everyone starts somewhere. Our classes are designed to be welcoming, supportive, and beginner-friendly.
Before Your First Class
- Please do not wear jewelry (rings, bracelets, or anything metal around the hand), as they can damage the poles and cause injury.
- All classes must be reserved in advance through our online booking system.
- We do not accept walk-ins, so please register for your class before arriving at the studio.
- Please complete the online waiver prior to attending your first class.
- Avoid applying lotions or oils to your hands, legs, or body before class, as they can make it difficult to grip the pole safely.
What to Wear
We recommend wearing a t-shirt or tank top, sports bra, and shorts. Skin contact helps you grip the pole properly during certain movements.
Heels are not required for beginners. Most students start in bare feet, and once you feel comfortable you may choose to incorporate pole heels into your training.
What to Bring
- A water bottle
- A small towel (optional)
- A positive attitude and willingness to try something new!
When to Arrive
Our doors typically open 10 minutes before class.
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class begins so you have time to get settled before class starts.
Students arriving more than 6 minutes late may not be admitted for safety reasons.
During Class
Your instructor will guide you through a warm-up, skill instruction, and cool-down. Pole dancing takes time to learn, so focus on enjoying the experience and celebrating small progress.
Everyone progresses at their own pace, and there is no expectation to master everything in your first class.
Most importantly, have fun!
