Welcome to Doll House Pole Fitness

Get a new perspective on fitness today! No dance or fitness experience required.

What to expect from your first class:
We're excited that you've decided to try out a class. You won't regret it! We believe that everyone is capable of rocking our classes- no dance or fitness experience required. As long as you can hold the pole, you can pole dance. That's not to say that it's easy, your first class will likely feel challenging at times, but we encourage you to stick with it. Try your hardest and let loose and feel free to ask your instructor plenty of questions after class if you weren't clear on any of the moves. At Doll House, we believe that exercise should be fun!

Where to Start

Intro to Pole Dancing: 50 Minutes
If you have NEVER taken a pole dance class, this is the class for you. In the first 30 minutes of this class you will learn the basic pole dance technique from hand and feet placement to walking around the pole, transitions, to basic spins and floor work. You will walk away with all you need to join our level 1 classes.

LEVEL 1 (Beginner Pole)
In this class you will take what you've learned from the intro class and take it to the next level. Designed for beginners. You will learn how to do work the pole with transitions, spins that will lift you off your feet and floor work! In addition to having a great time, you will get an amazing cardio and strength training, full body workout.

Private Lessons
If you're not quite ready to jump into a regular class, want one on one instruction to learn a few new skills for a special occasion or are a dancer that is looking for extra training. Semi-privates and group privates are also available.

What to Wear
Beginners do not need as much skin to grip the pole. If you are just starting out, yoga pants and a tank top will work great. When you start climbing and going upside down you may want to switch to shorts and a tank or a sports bra. Exposing more skin makes it easier to stick to the pole. Heels are encouraged but not mandatory.

Other tips

  • Do not apply lotions or oils before attending pole classes as it will make hands and legs slippery and unable to grip the pole. Please do not wear jewelry (especially rings) to pole class for they will damage the poles and the jewelry itself.
  • Bring an open mind and sense of humor! Don't expect to master the equipment on your first try.
  • Doors typically open 15 minutes before class. Please arrive 5 minutes before class to allow time to sign the liability waiver and get situated before your class starts.
